We are partnering with a respected engineering firm to hire a Licensed Senior Surveyor for their Franklin office. This is a key leadership position offering the opportunity to take ownership of survey deliverables, provide technical expertise, and lead a team of survey technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and stamp survey documents including boundaries, ALTA, topographic, as-builts, and final subdivision plats.
- Create linework and plats for commercial and residential projects.
- Oversee staking drawings and ensure accuracy for construction projects.
- Manage and mentor survey technicians, providing leadership and oversight on daily tasks.
- Uphold quality control by following established processes and continually improving error-checking procedures.
Requirements
- Registered Land Surveyor (RLS) License – required.
- 10+ years of experience in the Surveying Industry.
- 7+ years of CAD experience, including AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong knowledge of the platting process (required).
- Management or supervisory experience with proven ability to lead a team of technicians.
- Familiarity with staking for roadway, bridge, building, airport, or other heavy construction projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a collaborative mindset and commitment to accuracy.
Compensation: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
